The career

Valentine Stockdale has spent 26 years doing the same thing in different rooms: finding the structural truth inside a business and building the architecture that lets it grow without breaking. He started in corporate finance and reinsurance, advising AIM- and NASDAQ-listed clients on transactions with an aggregate pipeline of US $19.4 billion. He has since served as COO, CMO, and Chief Strategy Officer inside growth-stage ventures, built investor-grade financial models for companies raising from Series A rounds to Gulf sovereign wealth, and helped founders at every stage make their most important commercial decisions with clarity rather than hope. His clients include the founders of a $15m Series A metaverse platform, an impact investment bank structured to receive hundreds of millions from a Gulf royal family, and a £20m-revenue organisation building its next major venture.

Roles and affiliations

Valentine is a founding member of House of Balance, the independent impact community at Davos, which he helped build from conception to 1,100 registered attendees at its second year. He is co-founder of the World Indigenous Forum, the world's largest indigenous trade conference, and a Non-Executive Director of On Beer, one of Europe's pioneering sustainable drinks companies. He is also co-founder of Sanctum Partners, which supports retreat centre founders to structure, finance, and scale multimillion-euro projects, and is developing a flagship regenerative estate in Portugal designed as a centre for conscious governance and transformative hospitality. The thread connecting all of it is the same: a conviction that structural clarity is what makes the difference between a business that grows and one that collapses under its own complexity.
